A week has gone by, I have tried to reach out with email and phone since to try to put this behind us and get back to running the league. Below is my original email that I've sent from which I got kicked out of the forum. Did my email deserve to kill a fantasy hockeypool enjoyed by nine people and did it deserve ending a twenty year friendship over? The only attempt I got from others to resolve this was Suki replying to me on email four days ago saying that he is dealing with some work stuff, but eventually he will get back to me and he also got me back on the forum after Sunny deleted me from my own forum. I got nothing from Sunny. Here is the email that Sunny ruined everything for. You be the judge.

My Email.

Title: Appealing Mark Stone's contract decision

WHAT HAPPENED: Avalanche made a vague bid for M. Stone. The Rangers interpreted the bid to be a player who was ineligible to enter Free Agency. According to the rule book Mark Stone does NOT qualify for free agency. The rulebook was IGNORED and the Rangers were forced to agree to this or the Avalanche GM was going to quit. The Bruins and the Flyers acting entirely independently said this was not right. As a result the Rangers lost out on good free agents and were not allowed to do their best at free agency.
TEAM HURT: RANGERS
EVEN IF THIS DECISION GETS OVERTURNED, THE RANGERS LOST OUT ON MANY GOOD FREE AGENTS DURING FREE AGENCY. DAMAGE CANNOT BE ENTIRELY UNDONE.

There is a scary pattern forming here when viewing the league's history.

1. Fact: The Canucks got Yakupov for significantly less than equal value (stephan and howard) but the TRADE STOOD. TEAM SIGNIFICANTLY BENEFITED: CANUCKS TEAM HURT: JETS

2. Fact: The Avalanche who was the most upset about the Canuck trade made an even more unfair deal that basically landed them Barkov for very minimal. THE TRADE STOOD
TEAM SIGNIFICANTLY BENEFITED: AVALANCHE TEAM HURT: JETS

3. Fact: The Avalanche who was the most upset about the Canucks trade made an even more unfair deal that basically landed him Malkin (2012 top scorer). The trade was reviewed and made more equal but NOT 100% equal.
TEAM SIGNIFICANTLY BENEFITED: AVALANCHE TEAM HURT: BLUES

4. Fact: The Rangers made a trade for Craig Smith (HOCKEYNEWS PREDICTS THAT THE 25 YEAR OLD WILL GET 37 POINTS FOR THIS UPCOMING SEASON) for a 4th pick and Stewart (a top free agent). The deal was going to be VOIDED however the deal was a FAIR deal. The Rangers had to threaten to leave the league, to stand up for a trade that was fair in the first place. Stewart was given a cheaper salary.
TEAM SIGNIFICANTLY BENEFITED: BLUES (got Stewart at half the price).
THE TEAM THAT WAS GOING TO BE HURT: RANGERS

TEAMS GAINED FROM THESE DECISIONS:

Canucks: Yakupov
Avalanche: Barkov, Malkin
Flames: Stewart (getting him at half his salary)

TEAMS LOST FROM THESE DECISIONS
Jets-To make up the Chris Devine was allowed the benefit of an expansion draft and could drop his players regardless of contract years

Rangers-Were significantly handicapped at Free Agency from Stone's contract
