Hi guys. Tim here. The new GM of the Winnipeg Jets.
Thanks a lot for allowing me to join the league. I can see that there has been a lot of time and thought that has gone in to creating and maintaining the league. Hopefully I can do it, and all the other GMs justice.
A little about myself.
I'm in my mid 30's and live in the interior of BC. I'm tradionally an Oilers fan but have become quite a Canucks fan. They're basically the home team. I have a bit of a hate on for the Leafs, but that is mostly because two of my good friends are huge Leaf fans so i have no choice.
I didn't play ice hockey growing up, only ball and road hockey. I didn't strap on equipment until my early 20's and have been playing and loving it ever since. I currently play soccer, hockey and golf.
I've been playing fantasy hockey and football since the early 2000's.
I have two year old twin boys so my life is pretty hectic. I haven't been able to focus on sports as much as I would have liked for the past two years but the boys are old enough that Daddy gets some me time now.
I can't wait to have a good look at all your rosters and cook up some deals. I have inherited a good team with some good prospects but would, of course, like to make the team mine. I also noticed that my team is without a few draft picks next off season and would like to fully experience my first off season so am open to some draft picks coming my way.
Thanks again and good luck this year. I'll see you on the message boards.
